Why OATI
A login proves access. It does not explain the action.
Enterprise agents cross systems, companies and commercial boundaries. A valid token may let an agent connect, but it does not tell the receiving organisation who is accountable, why the agent is acting, what limits apply or what evidence will remain.
OATI binds identity, delegated authority, transaction context, deterministic policy and signed evidence into one portable model. It works alongside OAuth, OIDC, SPIFFE, AuthZEN, Cedar, OPA, MCP and A2A rather than replacing them.
