OATI Certified

Make compatibility a testable claim.

OATI Certified is the planned conformance and assurance programme for implementations, issuers and enterprise controls. Certification will be tied to published OATI and conformance-suite versions, with evidence of behaviour rather than a logo based on self-declaration.

The question it answers

Does this implementation behave as the standard requires?

Comparable claims

State exactly which version, object set and behaviour an implementation supports.

Executable evidence

Use schemas, fixtures and conformance tests to demonstrate interoperability.

Layered assurance

Distinguish basic compatibility from issuer, enforcement, verification and enterprise assurance.

How it works

A precise part of the trust chain.

Each OATI component has one clear job. Together they create a transaction that another organisation can understand and verify.

  1. 01

    Choose the profile

An implementer selects the applicable OATI version, component and certification mark.

  2. 02

    Run conformance

The implementation passes required positive, negative, cryptographic and privacy tests.

  3. 03

    Publish the claim

A versioned result and certification status can be checked by counterparties.
